Fishing seems to be rebounding after a week of nasty weather. A few scattered crappie are being caught around structure in the 7-to 12-foot range. Some anglers are also catching a few from 20 feet of water around ledges on the main lake and in Big Sandy Creek.

Largemouth bass bite is unsteady. Most consistent bite is in the creeks on crank, spinner and swim baits. Smallmouth bass bite is about the same in the creeks and creek bays. Try jerk baits and spoons for smallmouth.

Check out some crazy pictures of flooding on Kentucky Lake. Although it says some are still fishing, it is risky due to all of the water hazards that can't be seen by the flood.

Kentucky Lake Info
Kentucky Lake is a major navigable reservoir along the Tennessee River in Kentucky and Tennessee. Created in 1944 by the Tennessee Valley Authority's impounding of the Tennessee River by Kentucky Dam, the 160,309-acre (649 km2) lake is the largest artificial lake by surface area in the United States east of the Mississippi River (though not the largest by volume; Lake Cumberland holds that distinction).
