White bass fishing appears to be the best bet this week. Try casting spoons and spinners into the jumps early and late in the day when the lake is calm. Bass fishing has shifted to the night bite. Plastics and jigs have been producing around 15 feet off points and steep banks. Walleye fishing is always a challenge. Trolling shad pattern crankbaits seems to be the best bet. Nolin is at pool, clear and in the low to mid 80's.

Lake temperatures are in the mid 80's and fishing activity has shifted to the typical early morning, late evening and at night. Largemouth are biting topwater baits in scattered jumps. Plastics and jigs are catching fish from deeper banks at around 15 feet. Melon/red is a popular flavor with the fish. White bass are taking spinners and spoons in scattered jumps. Bluegill are biting good on meal worm/popeye combinations. Cats are taking liver and prepared baits from rocky banks late and at night. Try using a 1/0 circle hook to increase your rate of hook-ups.

Bass fishing has slowed a bit as the larger fish are in a post spawn transition period. Good numbers of fish up to three pounds are still being caught. Plastics and jigs fished around 10 feet deep off points are working well. Green pumpkin, brown and melon appear to be the flavors of the week. The topwater bite early and late is good. The lake is at summer pool, clear and around 80 degrees.

Bass fishing is still very good. Melon, brown and pumpkin jigs tipped with a craw are putting several good fish in the boat. Plastics, spinnerbaits and crankbaits are also productive. Points and docks appear to be holding the most fish. Bluegill fishing is getting better. Main lake bluffs and shady pockets are producing best. Try a popeye jig tipped with a meal worm under a pear bobber at 3 to 5 feet. The lake is clear, at pool and in the mid 70's.

Surface temps are in the mid 70's with the lake being clear and near summer pool. Bass fishing continues to be good. Jigs in watermelon and brown have been successful. Plastic worms and creature baits are catching bass. Floating worms fished around docks are also picking up some fish. Most fish are being caught off main lake points. Crappie fishing is slow. Bluegill fishing is getting better each day. A popeye jig tipped with a wax worm and fished under a pear shaped bobber works well. I have not seen much bedding activity as of yet.
