Bass fishing has improved this week. Most fish have been caught off channel banks and points adjacent to deep water. Jigs and plastics are producing the most fish. Try throwing a crankbait such as the Deep Little N on flats at night. White bass fishing is fair using Rat-L-Traps. The new color patterns for traps are awesome! Crappie can be caught on minnows over brush around 12 feet. The occasional walleye can be picked up drifting live bait late in the day and early evening. Catfish and bluegill fishing is good early and late in the day. The lake is clear, 85 degrees and slightly above pool.
